The University of Kentucky volleyball team was all business on Friday night,
as they swept Texas A&M in dominant fashion. The team is looking for their
8th straight SEC title as they welcome Texas and Oklahoma. In SEC play the
team currently sits atop with being one game ahead of Missouri and having a
9-2 conference record. The team won 25-22, 25-20, then closed out with a
strong third set winning 25-14. Molly Truzzo was outstanding in the back with
22 digs and leading the hitters to success all throughout the night. Brooklyn
Deleye hit for 20 kills and Asia Thigpen added on 13 of her own. Looking
ahead the team welcomes LSU on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. If this momentum can
carry through to the post season Kentucky will be one of the most dangerous
teams in the tournament.
