Montoya home and then Brown bunted Lawrence home giving the lead back to the Cats, 4-2.
Two scoreless innings went by until the top of the fifth. Brown and Bell both hit a single and
Herrera loaded up the bases after being hit by a pitch. Hindle was hit by a pitch following
Herrera, and walked to bring home Brown. Cameron hit a fly to bring in Bell and then Hindle
stole second and Burkes was walked to load the bases back up. Lawrence hit a single, scoring
both Herrera and Hindle, the Cats now leading 8-2.
The Aggies couldn’t manage any runs until the bottom of the seventh. Kaeden Kent hit one out
to left to get on base and Gavin Kash was walked. Terrence Kiel hit a triple to score both
runners making the score 8-4. Henseler hit a single to score Kiel and that closed out the frame
for the Aggies.
Brown hit a homer to get the scoring started for the Cats at the top of the eighth. Bell was then
walked, Herrera got on base, and Hindle was hit by a pitch resulting in bases full of Cats.
Cameron scored Bell putting the Cats in the double-digits and sealing the game for the Cats,
10-5.
