Kentucky is expected to be involved with Finley Bizjack, first reported by Jacob Polacheck of KSR. The 6’4 guard has spent the last three season with the Butler Bulldogs and is coming off a breakout junior campaign in the Big East.
Bizjack averaged 17.1 points per game this past season while starting all 31 games for Butler. He shot 42.6 %percent from the field, 34.9% from three on 6.3 attempts per game, and 85 percent from the free throw line. He also added 2.5 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game on an average of 34 minutes. His scoring jump from 10.3 points as a junior to 17 as a sophomore made him one of the most improved guards in the conference.
Bizjack’s development has been steady since arriving at Butler. As a freshman, he averaged just 4.2 points in limited minutes. He then stepped into a starting role as a sophomore, averaging 10.3 points while shooting an impressive 42.8 percent from three on 4.3 attempts per game -lower volume. That efficiency helped set the stage for his junior season breakout as the primary scoring option.

Kentucky’s interest makes sense given the need for multiple superstars heading into Mark Popes third year. The Wildcats are expected to target players who can be consistent game changers, and Bizjack checks several of those boxes. He has proven he can play heavy minutes, stay healthy, and create offense, stretching the floor.
Kentucky is expected to continue evaluating multiple guards in the portal, but Bizjack is clearly a name to keep an eye on when the transfer portal officially opens on April 7th.
As portal activity continues to pick up, his recruitment is expected to draw interest from programs all around the country. Kentucky getting involved early and showing signs of interest could help position the Wildcats as a serious contender moving forward, but time will tell.
