One of the top players in the transfer portal Robert Wright III, is set to visit Kentucky next Monday. This visit takes place at a crucial time where Kentucky is still looking for their first portal addition.
The 6’1 sophomore had a remarkable season at BYU. He averaged 18.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists alongside Richie Saunders and AJ Dybansta. He ended the season with 47/41/82 shooting splits — not too shabby.
Not only is he visiting, but The Field of 68’s Jeff Goodman believes that Kentucky is the leader in his recruitment:
The on-campus visit will give Kentucky an opportunity to reel in a huge fish. Wright will make his on-campus trip alongside Tyran Stokes, who will be visiting tomorrow.
Kentucky intends to reinforce their connections and bring in some of the biggest names in all of college basketball heading into next season.
