Kentucky’s front court will see another change due to the transfer portal. Mo Dioubate has entered the transfer portal after one year in Lexington. The veteran big man played an important rotational role for the Wildcats in 2025-26.
Dioubate appeared in 31 games and made 10 starts for Kentucky this season. He averaged 8.8 PPG, 5.5 RPG, and 1.0 APG in 21.6 minutes per game. He shot an 54.2% from the field and was one of Kentuckys grittiest players.
The 6’7 big man showed glimpses of progress during the season. He had many notable games such as a 19-point game against Texas A&M, and a 14-point, 12-rebound game against Indiana. He was playing his best basketball in the latter portion of the season in the game when Kentucky beat Santa Clara in the NCAA Tournament with 17 points and eight rebounds.
After beginning his career at Alabama, he took a major step forward as a sophomore before transferring. With the transfer portal continuing to shape offseason roster construction, Dioubate should draw interest from programs looking for an experienced, high-energy forward who rebounds and plays with toughness.
As Kentucky continues navigating portal season, Dioubate’s depature is key for many other opportunities. Another roster spot now available as the Wildcats begin building toward next season.
