The race for Milan Momcilovic has the entire state of Kentucky on a knife’s edge. UofL and UK fans both feel that his commitment could give them a title-contending team heading into the 2026–27 season.
Sources have indicated to Bleed Blue Network that this recruitment may now be in its final stages before a decision is made. One source even stated that a final decision may have already been made. Others have hinted at that possibility, but we are not yet ready to confirm it.
Sources have also not changed their stance that UK is, and has been, in the lead for Momcilovic’s services. They have also indicated that UK has made the largest NIL offer, with some even stating that it is not particularly close to that of other schools. This also seems to line up with the confidence behind Kentucky’s chances.
Kentucky has also received predictions from national media to land Milan Momcilovic. No predictions have been placed for other schools from credible media outlets.
Bleed Blue Network basketball insider Dylan Brake has remained confident that UK is in pole position, and there continues to be confidence and even growing conviction that Mark Pope will land one of the biggest prizes of the 2026 transfer portal.
